Located in Edgartown’s desirable Katama neighborhood, this site is nestled within an indigenous pitch pine forest just a short walk to Katama Bay. Having vacationed on Martha's Vineyard for many years, the owners commissioned us to create a second home for them to escape the city and enjoy the Island's peaceful countryside. Avid outdoors people, they were drawn to the wooded site and wanted the home to embrace the land, blurring the line between inside and out. The low and transparent entry porch leads to a large two-story glass living room that frames the beautiful landscape beyond. The home has five bedrooms, one for each family member, and features a library mezzanine overlooking the family room below.
